Short Biography of Susie Kimes

Susie Kimes' story is one of God taking a troubled life and radically transforming it into a trophy of His marvelous grace. God has spoken to tens of thousands through the story of Susie's spiritual journey. Her testimony crosses cultural, racial and age barriers and has doubtless touched every listener with the profound goodness and mercy of our gracious Lord.

NEWIM

While serving as Director of Women's Ministries of a mega church in Southern California she formed a nonprofit organization called NEWIM (Network of Evangelical Women in Ministry) designed to strengthen women who minister to others. Among other things, NEWIM's resources include spiritual and training retreats, conferences and networking meetings. The heart of NEWIM is to provide opportunities for women to be refreshed and restored in Christ, thus enabling them to give of themselves more completely.

Chosen Women

Susie founded Chosen Women in 1997. These were a series of stadium events offering women an invitation to come together in unity for the purpose of praise, worship, repentance, renewal and celebration.

Susie and John Kimes have been married for 37 years and currently reside in Newport Beach, California. They have three grown boys and enjoy four grandchildren.
