What I'm Proudest Of

I am most proud of my sons. You are wonderful men, great husbands, and awesome dads. Each one of you serves Jesus according to your gifts and abilities. What more could a mom ask for?

Your dad loved me unconditionally and was wise and thoughtful. I see these attributes in the three of you. I cannot be more pleased or proud of you.

Thank you boys for your care of me in my later years. I feel loved, honored, and secure. How many widows can say that, I do not know. But I feel as if I am the most blessed of women.

I am also humbled and honored that Jesus brought me into His Kingdom and entrusted me with God-sized jobs. It is true that God uses the least of us. I am grateful He gave me a husband especially equipped to partner with me. John gave me wisdom every step of the way. He was the one who encouraged me to move forward when I was frightened or confused. He often listened to me and brought clarity to overwhelming challenges.

The Lord made it clear to John that he was to provide the financial shortfall of any event, if there was a need. He helped with NEWIM (Network of Evangelical Women in Ministry), with conferences, Chosen Women Stadium Events, albums by Anne Barbour and the Chosen Women live albums. He was generous in every way. All I needed to do was ask. I am so thankful for John's partnership in life and love.

I am also proud (if that is the right word) of the years of spiritual freedom counseling and teaching. The Lord freed many, saved lives, and brought people into His Kingdom. And, last but not least, my joy of mentoring and praying with women the Lord has sent me. What pure joy!

Now, I am in a different season of life and Jesus has given me the joy of serving in different ways. Living with Jason, Ariana, Kenley, Reece, and Hudson is so life-giving. I find ways to be a help to this busy household, as strength allows. Also, the Lord has surprised me by bringing people with financial needs to my attention. We partner together to give in a way that blesses the person(s), to give hope and purpose.

Thank you, Jesus, for the privilege of serving you. I give you all the honor and the glory.
